At the Franciscan Monastery we welcome the public to join us in celebrating the Mass daily, and invite you to attend our special services for Christmas, Easter and other holy days.

Daily Mass

Monday – Friday (except Tuesday)

6 a.m., 7 a.m.

Tuesdays

6 a.m., 9 a.m., 5:30 p.m.

Saturdays

7 a.m., 5 p.m.

Sundays

8 a.m., 10 a.m., Noon

 

Spanish Mass

2 p.m. on Sunday

 

Confessions

Monday – Saturday
9 a.m., 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m., 4 p.m.

Holiday Masses

Lent, Holy Week and Easter

Every Friday of Lent:

Lenten Tour: This is a Special Tour using the beautiful replicas of the Monastery church and grounds as well as the words from Sacred Scripture and from St. Francis of Assisi to reflect on Our Lord’s Passion and Death.

Stations of the Cross: 3 p.m.

Palm Sunday Masses:

8, 10 a.m. (Blessing of the Palms and Outdoor Procession), and Noon

2 p.m. (Misa en Español)

Tenebrae (Spy Wednesday)

7:30 p.m.

Holy Thursday Mass:

6 & 7 a.m.

7:30 p.m. (Followed by a procession and the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament until midnight.)

Good Friday:

Stations of the Cross: 2:30 p.m.

Liturgical Service: 3:30 p.m.

Ceremony of the Burial of Christ : 7:30 p.m.

Holy Saturday: Easter Vigil at sundown (generally 7:30 p.m.)

Easter Sunday:

Sunrise Service in the Gardens at sunrise (approximately 6:30 a.m.)

Mass: 8, 10 a.m., and Noon

2 p.m. (Misa en Español)

Confession:

Regular schedule. No afternoon confessions on Good Friday.

 

Christmas

Christmas Eve & Day

December 24: 5 p.m. Vigil Mass

Choral Celebration 11:30 p.m.

Midnight Mass

December 25: 8 a.m., 10 a.m., Noon

 

New Year’s Eve

5:30 p.m.

New Year’s Day

6 a.m., 9 a.m.
