Secular Franciscan Order

The Secular Franciscan Order is an order in the Church for laypersons who, led by the Spirit, strive for perfect charity in their own secular state. By their profession they pledge themselves to live the gospel in the manner of Saint Francis by means of this Rule approved by the Church.

The SFO has international, national, regional, and local levels. The regional fraternity is St. Margaret of Cortona. The local fraternity, Mt. St. Sepulchre, meets at the Franciscan Monastery on the third Sunday of each month.
